Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Cowboy Church Outdoors exists to unite Christian families and reach out to
non-Christians with the love of Jesus Christ through activities held in the great outdoors. Toward that end, we offer a wide variety of outdoor activities including:
Bass Club
Our Christian Bass club offers scheduled bass tournaments held on area lakes. The dates and
locations are selected as a group prior to the first of the year. These are always alcohol free events that the whole family can enjoy. Cost is $25 per person or $50 per boat with a payout for first,

second, and third place, as well as big bass. For more information, contact Reggie Stewart at
214-325-1606 or
Aiming for Christ
The Shooting Club meets every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at the Ellis County Sportsmans Club for a time of fellowship through trap and skeet shooting. Both men and women are invited and encouraged to participate. So, whether you are interested in improving your overall shooting skills for the upcoming hunting season, or are just interested in a fun night out, come and join us. For more information, contact Wayne Ford at 972-923-0074
Outdoor Cooking Team
The Outdoor Cooking Team is for men and women who enjoy preparing food for area emergencies and church fellowships. Typical functions would include fish frys, barbecues, wild beast feasts, and cooking for the Cowboy Church men's prayer breakfast. For more information, contact Dick Lambert at 972-842-3157, or Wayne Ford at 972-923-0074.
