Small groups offer a way to connect with other believers in fellowship; to grow in your understanding of the Bible, to minister and be ministered to, and in general to grow in your ability to live out and practice authentic Christianity. Cowboy Church currently offers three types of small groups:

• 3-Cs (Covenant Cowboys & Cowgirls)

• Home Builders

• Bible Studies

3-Cs

3Cs is a group of 3 or 4 people that meets once a week in order to share struggles & prayers. (Men must meet with men and women with women.) 3Cs are built around three commitments that will greatly strengthen your walk with God.

Commit to meet with your group regularly-preferably once a week.
Commit to spending 3 to 5 hours per week alone with God.
Commit to proactively seeking opportunities to grow in your relationship with God and your family.

3Cs are informal groups that are usually not coordinated or tracked through the church. Anyone can participate in a 3C group by inviting 2 other individuals of the same sex to meet weekly for prayer. If you need help getting involved, please contact a Lay Pastor. They are the men in white Cowboy Church shirts that are stationed around the Worship Center on Sunday mornings.

Eccl 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Home Builders

Home BuildersHome Builders is a ministry dedicated to equipping families for successful living by teaching Biblical principles for marriage, parenting, finances, leadership, and discipleship.

Generally, these groups are made up of four couples that meet regularly for Bible study and prayer using Homebuilders curriculum for guidance.

If you are interested in participating in Home Builders, please watch the church bulletin. New groups form regularly, but fill up quickly. Generally, a sign up sheet is available on the table near the back of the Worship Center. You can also get on a waiting list by contacting the church office at 972-935-9801.

We are constantly in need of people to host Home Builders groups. If you would like to host such a group, please contact the church office at 972-935-9801. Hosting a Home Builders group requires very little preparation since the curriculum is self guiding. Just open up your home and be prepared to guide discussion by reading the questions provided.

Step By Step Through The New Testament Bible Study meets every Tuesday nigth from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Youth Center.  Contact Dennis Brearley at 972-935-1242 for more information.
